Thank You Message
With the Thank You Message, you thank respondents at the end of the survey. You can also show an image and use a custom button to send people to a page of your choice, for example to your products or to a discount code.
In the question type dialog, this type is called Thank You Message & CTA Button.
The thank-you message is prefilled with the following texts, which you can customize:
- Title: “Thank you for your participation!”
- Description: “We use your feedback to continuously improve our website for you and other users.”
- Button: “Finish survey”
Settings
- Active/inactive: Use the switch at the top to activate or deactivate the Thank You Message. If it is inactive, the survey ends directly after the last question.
- Show finish button: Shows or hides the button that ends the survey. You can customize the button text.
- Show image: Shows an image in the thank-you message. Use Upload image to select the file.
- Custom button: Adds a second button with its own Button text and Button link, for example “Go to products”. With Open in new tab, you decide whether the link opens in a new tab.
Image
The image appears at the top of the thank-you message, above the title. It is scaled to the full width of the survey and cropped to a maximum height of 200 px if necessary. Landscape images therefore work best.
- Allowed file formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG
- Maximum file size: 2 MB
- The title of the thank-you message is used as alternative text for screen readers.
Thank You Message and logic
The Thank You Message is always at the end of the survey. With logic, you can also let respondents jump there directly: in a rule, choose then Show Thank You Message.
The survey already counts as completed as soon as the last question has been answered, i.e. before the thank-you message appears. You can see clicks on the buttons of the thank-you message in the reporting. Learn more in How we count impressions, responses and rates.
